Growing up, “five” and “blonde” defined our very existence. In our hometown we’re know as “the family with the five blonde girls.” Although we may not always be blonde, we’ll always be five, and we’ll always be sisters. That’s what counts.

Erica. Numero Uno. Erica is married to Denis and lives in London. She is pregnant and due in early February! Eri is a recent university graduate and holds a degree in Film Theory and Writing. Micaela. Dos. The newest Mama to the first boy blonde – Casey. Micaela recently moved to London with her chef husband, who has the official FB stamp of approval, and together they can be found cooking up a storm as he is a chef at a fancy schmancy restuarant. Kate. The middle child! Kate went to the university of Guelph and studied Agriculture, following in her mom’s footsteps. Kate married her sweetie Scott in October of 2007 and together they bought a farm. In January 2010 they had a beautiful and energetic daughter, Hailey, and another beautiful daughter, Brianna in July 2011! Kate is on materntiy leave from work as a field biologist in the agriculture industry, and has recently discovered her inner photographer. Kate is also on Twitter, and has a separate photography blog.
Leah. Quatro! Now in Toronto, Leah has recently returned from the West where she resided in Calgary for two wonderful years. Leah works in the social work field with both mental health and geriatric patients. She has been described as the ‘special sister’, and is ‘freakishly weird and loveable’. Leah is a social butterfly and has been known to enjoy a good beer or two, especially while working as a bartender. Find her blogging about, well, uh, anything she feels like at that moment in time, and the frustrating chore of job-hunting.
Lauren. Lauren is the baby in the family, and therefore gets to hand out the Christmas presents at family Christmas. She is a student in Ottawa where she is studying Criminology, and is a cheerleader – the kind of cheerleader that flings the tiny people up into the air and gets massive purple bruises and busted open lips when she catches them. Hard core. Find her blogging about super random things that she thinks about and that happen in her daily life. Twitter!
