Growing up, “five” and “blonde” defined our very existence. In our hometown we’re know as “the family with the five blonde girls.” Although we may not always be blonde, we’ll always be five, and we’ll always be sisters. That’s what counts.
We try to update this several times throughout the year, so whatever you read here is likely current, within a month or two. Have a question? Leave us a comment!
Erica. Numero Uno. Erica is married to Denis and lives in London. Eri is working on the last credits for her degree in Film Theory. She is a freelance social media and internet marketing consultant. Micaela. Dos. Is married and living with her hubby in Toronto! Her husband has the FB stamp of approval, and together they can be found cooking up a storm as he is a cook at a fancy schmancy restuarant. Focus on Mic for some great writing skills and cute outfit blogs.
Kate. The middle child! Kate went to the university of Guelph and studied Agriculture, following in her mom’s footsteps. Kate married her sweetie Scott in October of 2007 and together they bought a farm and now are having a baby! Due in January 2010. She is looking forward to the day when she can lay on her stomach again. Kate has a wonderful job in the Agricultural Industry! Kate is also on Twitter, sometimes.
Leah. Leah has LEFT us fine Ontario ladies and moved to Calgary, Alberta with her boyfriend Tim. That’s ok, we approve! She really likes chocolate milk, pink lemonade, cheap sunglasses, when other people drive, tops that make you feel like a million bucks, airport moments, and skinny jeans. Leah works in the social work field with mental illness and has an Undergraduate degree in Gerontology (B.A.Sc. Honours). She can commonly be found with a glass of wine in her hand, singing along to country music (or penning some of her own creations) and dancing around her apartment dancing in some ridiculous outfit. Or planning for visitors. You in Calgary? Give her a Twitter and let her know!
Lauren. Lauren is the baby in the family, and therefore gets to hand out the Christmas presents at family Christmas. She is a student in Ottawa where she is studying Criminology, and is a cheerleader – the kind of cheerleader that flings the tiny people up into the air and gets massive purple bruises and busted open lips when she catches them. Hard core. She also loves…eating ice cream when it’s cold out, cruising, romance, crime shows, reality shows, cupcakes, photos, magazines, her macbook, the sun, goggle tans, ski boots, bright yellow raincoats, big snowflakes, cheerleading, ski racing, the smell of her farm, Kardi when he’s tired, peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwiches, piglets- especially their noses, lazing around on a beach all day with nothing to do, cheap wine, laying on her stomach, big shoes, Babe, dog lips, Buffy, Angel, headbands, knitting, sewing, bran chocolate chip muffins, milk, warm pink lemonade, Christmas tree ornaments, girly, teenage movies, Gossip Girl, The Hills, The City, Walt Whitman, walk-in freezers, skiing down long, winding trails, Starbucks pink lemonade, Starbucks White Mochas, Halloween, broccoli and cheese sauce, supporter of blogs everywhere, tofu, veggie burgers, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, chocolate milk (except when it makes her sick), hiking, friends, and of course, her family.
