Half way there!
(Check out our new paint behind me! Its a dark grey accent wall and I love it so much.)
How far along?: 20w1d
How big is baby?: C antelope (HOLY COW) 6.5 inches long
Weight gain/loss?: no idea since we don’t own a scale and I don’t care that much. Next doctors appt is Feb 28.
Maternity clothes?: Still need to go look for jeans. My normal jeans are not as comfy anymore.
Sleep?: I have not been sleeping that great once 5:30am hits. From the time I fall asleep to then, I sleep in one position, from 5:30 – 6:30 I toss and turn dreading the sound of my alarm clock.
Food cravings?: Hmmm not sure. Not really into food that much. Loving my nibs that Scott got me for Valentines day, after much hinting.
Movement?: yes, can’t wait until its constant enough so I can make other people feel too!
Belly button?: Looking weirder every day.
What are you looking forward to this week?: Buying our new van! Yup that’s right we are becoming a van family. Going from my little 2 door Cobalt to a nice and big van will be a welcomed change.
I bought an ergo carrier off BabySteals the otherday. It was my first ever purchase off there. I’m pretty excited to get it and try it out. Our stroller does not convert into a double stroller, like many of the snazzy strollers do these days. I’m kicking myself a bit now for not listening to advice to get a double stroller with your first. Right now we are thinking carrying one child and stroller for the other… we’ll see how long we last like that. I have been looking on kijiji as well but nothing has caught my eye yet.
Here’s a little Hailey update as well!
Hailey got her 1 year shots and then the lucky girl came down with a case of the measles or something like that. Apparently 5% of kids who get that shot come down with them anywhere from 5-28 days after the shots. She got large red bumps on her back and stomach and a few on her forehead. She was a bit cranker then usual and had really long naps. I think she is finally back to normal and most of her spots are gone.
We are surviving being a mom working/Hailey at daycare family, better then I expected actually. Work feels like I never left and I think I’m fitting right in. Hailey is doing good at daycare, and only cries some days when I leave her there. I like that it’s a home daycare because it feels like she is part of their family, when I drop her off and pick her up the day care providers kids are there and I normally pass Hailey off to the daughter (I think she is in grade 8).
So that’s whats new with us right now. Seems like the fiveblondes are at a loss for words these days. Dear sisters… time to post!
