Yesterday was the Santa Clause parade in Ottawa! My friend Kaylee and I ventured out into the freezing cold (after Starbucks of course) to watch it. Here are some pictures of the parade:

That looks like so much fun! All you need is snow. I can hardly wait to get my Christmas tree decorated, once we’re done moving this week. I LOVE that Santa bus with the hat and beard.
Very cute!

Ours is December 13th and it goes right by our house! When I was young I always wanted to live on a parade route and now I do!
You look so super warm in your coat! Where is it from?!?!?!

it looks like yours is nice and dry, I stood out in the rain for 2 hours because my little one wanted to “watch mama, watch” haha
Geekmom- Kaylee and I saw that huuge hat from far away and couldn’t WAIT to see what it was on! I actually thought it was on a street sign…
Allison- Almost as good as our town parade! It goes by half the towns house, haha.
fragileheart- It’s from Aritzia! I actually got it in Toronto the last time I was there (The Royal). It’s their “environmentally friendly” line called Community.
Jaime- It was dry, but WOW was it cold! We were jumping up and down by the end, haha.

OMG I love your coat! Where did you get it? Chicago is not as cold as Canada, but it is pretty damn close…
The Thorndale parade is pretty awesome. I was in it last year and expected it to just go down the main street but nope, it drove past every house in Thorndale! amazing.
It did? I thought it just went from the library, down to the train tracks, then up on the back road that we always biked down? I didn’t know it went in the subdivision…well it didn’t when I was in it.

Haley- I got it at Aritzia. It’s their new label Community. Not sure you have that store in Chicago though, it might be Canadian
Yeppers, it went all the way through the subdivision to my dismay, because it was frigid out.

OMG I love Aritzia – but its so expensive. I’ll just have to add this to my wishlist!!
Your coat and Mic’s coat should have a hood-off.

OMG…Canada Post is on strike? What the CRAP! Is that just in Ottawa or all over?
Full. Panic. Attack.
Parade looks like fun! Looks kind of cold out there…..we are still snowless (kinda) and warm (sorta) out this way.

Why Mom Drinks Rum- I think it’s all over. Our aunt works there in London and she mentioned a while ago that they might be going on strike. We are no longer snowless though! It’s been snowing almost non stop for about 2.5 days. We haven’t accumulated that much snow though.

@ Why Mom … The strike is not over, our aunt is still on strike, however it is not the mail sorters or delivers. It is people who work in the offices and the engineers I think she said. It will not stop mail delivery, just slow it down a bit. Nothing to panic about
