1. I am a hard-core procrastinator. A professional, if you will. Want an example? I’ll tell ya later.
2. After we had been dating a few weeks, the “friend” who set up me and Denis tried to break us up. It didn’t work (obviously) and be the end of the summer she was fired from her job and I was promoted to take her place. Erica FTW!
3. I love my name. First, middle, and last. However, I will be happily changing it when I get married (in three months and five days).
4. I like being called “Er” (pronounced “err”) or “Eri” (pronounced “err-y”). I especially like being called Er or Eri out of the blue from someone aside from a family member. Spontaneous and fun
5. I love grey sweaters. I have at least 7.
6. I can be very sarcastic.
7. If it were not for Denis, I would forget to take my medication WAY too much.
8. If I don’t take this medication, I will have seizures.
9. I have not had a seizure in almost 2 years!
10. I have had seizures in very embarrassing places, including a movie theatre in the middle of the film Sweet Home Alabama. Did you know that when a film projector is stopped, it can’t be simply started up again? I may have ruined a lot of dates that night. I’m sure I also freaked a lot of people out.
11. I am very emotional, but I think I hide it well. Do I?
12. I am somewhat disturbed by the fact that I recently bought a dress that is a size 0.
13. If I bought a larger size, the chest would have needed to be taken in. *sigh*
14. I love finding typos in books and the newspaper. I found 3 typos in the book I read last week – one of the typos was a continuity error. The passage referenced “3 months” when it should have been “3 years”.
15. I am almost always cold and love wrapping a blanket around my whole body!
16. I read Harry Potter 4 in 11 hours straight
17. 17 is my favorite number.
18. I hate am frustrated by wedding planning. Being female does not mean that I automatically know everything there is to know and/or can do it well.

20. I have $0 debt (happy happy joy joy!)
21. I love elephants

24. Denis fits perfectly into my family.
25. I fit perfectly into Den’s family. This is a first for me (feeling comfortable with boyfriend’s family).
26. I shake when I am nervous. My medication ‘amplifies’ the shakiness. I am sure that my signature on anything I sign on our wedding day will be a mess.
27. My dad has already walked me down the aisle at a wedding. Actually, he carried me: I was a flower girl and was too scared to walk. FAIL.

29. I completely believe in karma.
30. I love tomatoes.
31. I rarely wear makeup
32. I’m freaked out by anything to do with eyeballs. I could never, ever wear contacts.

34. My favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz
35. It really bugs me when people misuse or misspell common sayings or colloquialisms
36. I drink a lot of tea. My favorite is Black Currant by Tetley
37. I am very sentimental and don’t like change very much!

39. I don’t feel like an adult. 26? As if!
40. I like taking pictures, but I never seem to take any good ones. I’ll leave that to Katelyn.
41. It really ticked me off when I found out that someone had referred to our family as “the family that gets hotter as it gets younger”. But then I realized that it does imply that they think I’m hot, so I’m OK with it now.

43. I spent a lot of time in my orthodontist’s office.

45. My favorite musician is Sheryl Crow. The first cassette (yup, cassette) I ever purchased for myself was Tuesday Night Music Club.

47. I have a terrible short-term memory.
48. I’m a really good snowboarder. I’m not modest about this because high-level professional snowboard instructors have told me this when I trained with them

58. I am amused by mundane, everyday things.
59. I love to do absolutely nothing for hours and hours. Afterwards I feel guilty for not being productive.
60. One of the best afternoons of my life was spent on a mountain in Alberta. It was the most beautiful day, no crowds, just me and my friend Kyra racing each other down the mountain, making the biggest, most perfect carves imaginable. Every few runs we would just sit down and bask in the sun, working on our goggle tans.
61. I think goggle tans are hot.
62. After I started having seizures, I had to rely on my family to drive me around. This was a big change for me and not something I paticularily relished as I felt powerless and like I was a burden to their lives. I still can’t drive, but I live about 30 seconds from a bus stop – way different from living in the country!
63. Our family’s golf course is one of my favorite places in the world. Not only did I work their for 5 years and golf for free, but I also met Denis there. If they even sell the course (yes, our family owns a golf course) I will be very upset. Like I said, I’m sentimental!
64. I remember the very first blog I read regularly and still read it from time to time.
65. When I first met Leah’s Tim, we were celebrating her 19th birthday. I had had several drinks already when we were introduced. The first thing I said to him: “Tim, I like you. There’s two of you but I like ya both.”
66. I’ve had about a dozen tonic-clonic seizures (aka grand mal seizures) but I have only seen someone have a seizure in an educational video. It really freaked me out to imagine myself having a seizure.
67. My favorite ice cream is Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip.
68. I don’t like ironing but I iron Denis’ clothes for him every night. It’s love.
69. I completely believe in karma and that some things are just meant to be. Listen to the universe and it will tell you.
70. I learned to knit partly because I wanted to buy all the pretty yarn that I saw being sold on Etsy.

73. When I was in elementary school I often got into trouble for reading…I would hide the book in my desk.
74. I broke my arm toboganning when I was 12. We were with our aunts and they didn’t believe that I hurt my arm that badly, so they just brought us home. Later on Mom (or maybe dad?) took me to the hospital and sure enough…
75. Denis and I have perhaps the best rental situation in the country, but I can’t wait to get the heck out and buy our own place.

77. I am not a morning person.
78. Tall peppermint no-whip mocha, please.
79. When I was a kid my aunts nicknamed me “computer brain”
80. I get annoyed when people misspell Denis’ name. There’s only one ‘n’ – that’s less for you to type and/or write! Don’t screw it up! And don’t make the line of the “D” too long.
81. I used to use the word “dude” a lot
82. Denis tells me that I am a lot girlier than when we first started dating

86. I am marrying a man with the most unique laugh you have ever heard. I love it!
87. I should be a professional disorganizer.
88. When I was a kid my Oma and my aunts took care of my hamster while we went on a family vacation. I wrote a very detailed note with instructions on how to care for him, noting explicitly (in large capital letters) “DON’T SQUEEZE HIM!”
89. I consider myself to be quite lucky. Good fortune finds its way to me.

4. Okay, I think a better way to explain “Er” would be “air”, because “Err” sounds like….well I’ll explain when I see you, because it’s hard to pronounce it on here.

41. aaahahaahahhahahahaaaaa. I think that was a joke.

The latest blog stylings of fragileheart: Mummy
@Allison – We were travelling most of the summer that year thankfully, so very few people saw it when it was super short.
@Mic – X-man is the BEST time by far!
@Laur – I had that spelling originally but changed it.
@Carol – Denis complained that I didn’t mention our cat Max in the list, so yes, he definitely could have supplied the last five if we were together when I published it.
@Kate – thank you for the confirmation of my procrastinating nature
@Jamie – Thanks! I’ll check it out for sure
@Laura – Thank you for finishing my list so sweetly! *hugs*
@Saver Q – ugh…13…hope you get to sleep in this weekend! I do!
@fragileheart – I said karma twice? Maybe it was karma that I did…alright, the list will be amended! As to when we get together again, one of the blondies is moving to TO this summer so a trip or two will certainly be made and we’ll have a get-together
The latest blog stylings of Erica: Exceptions to the Rule
This is a bit late, but based on your #1, you know why
@ #14–there’s a bit of a copy-editor in you somewhere!
@51–I am WITH YOU on the milk. Gross.
@83–Ditto. This is always SUCH a problem when I move.
