For a wedding present my aunt and uncle and cousins from Alberta bought us a BBQ! Since our wedding was at the end of October and then we headed on our honeymoon we didn’t get to set it up, because BBQing in the winter really would not be fun. Last night we busted it out, built it and commenced BBQing season!

We made a BBQ!

We made burgers and they were really good! We also bought a fish cooker and vegetable cooker for the grill so we can cook in style.

And my newly re-potted plant.. it was in a much smaller pot and i decided that it was outgrowing the pot so I bought a new pretty one. Well! The roots were so thick (it looked like worms) and winding all around in the pot, it sure was ready for a new pot. Now it can grow much better. Oh and I’m growing a tree, see it beside the newly re-potted plant.

We just used our barbeque for the first time two nights ago! It is so nice, because for some reason, BBQing means, Men do the cooking = Lara gets to RELAX:)
LOL. We also had burgers, and then last night we had steak and potatoes! I can’t wait for summer and lots of BBQ parties!

We got a BBQ at our October wedding as well! However, my husband is a freak and grills in the winter, so we’ve used ours many times.

Kristal- My neighbours also grill in the winter- but they do it in their garage with the door a bit open -must be so smoky!
I BBQ’ed last night! we made Steaks, and mini roasted potatoes! mmm….
