Luring you in just to send you away again

This will be a short post as I have another draft 99% ready to go (holy smokes I’m PLANNING AHEAD! Which also happens to be a topic of the next post!). We’ve set out the welcome mat header, nevermind that it doesn’t say welcome but please rest assured that you are indeed welcome, and now I’m going to send you to sights possibly unseen by your eyes until now. I promise that they are not evil and you will not go blind.

First up is MouthyGirl! She is giving away an iPod. All you have to do to enter is comment. That’s it! Bonus entries for suck-ups like me who tell people like you about the contest. I’m increasing my entries, but at the same time decreasing my chances at winning because who knows how many of you will enter?

If you’re wondering who this “MouthyGirl” is, her name is Sabrina and I encourage you to read her page, What is a MouthyGirl? Anyone can be a mouthy girl (unless you are a boy…)! She has a list of qualities such as:

So there you go. The Five Blondes are all mouthy girls for sure!

Secondly, another giveaway from a different kind of blog. Katy is the author of I’m Blogging That! where she answered your blogging “How-To” questions. Hmm…this didn’t end up as short as I thought it would be. Oh well!

So…speaking of contests…if Five Blondes were to run a contest, what kind of prizes are best? Books? Electronics? Gift certificates? The possibilities are endless…

OK, not endless, we can’t give away a car. Unless it were a Hot Wheels car.

I’ll take the mouthy girl comment! I’m totally down for that and while I haven’t read the requirements (but will), I’m pretty sure I’ll quality.

When/if we have a contest, can we keep it simple? None of this write about it on your blog and you get another entry business. It’s too complicated and I don’t like it.
