I hate January. I really do. I promised myself today that I will never have a child born in January, I will just put a plug in it and tell that child to wait. Momma hasn’t gotten out of bed in 30 days. January is the longest month of the year for some reason, and this year it dragged and dragged. I don’t even know if I am going to last another week. January is the month keeping me from having visitors from home. January is the month I got credit card fraud, and my bank decided I didn’t need to know until my card was declined and I had to call them – “Oh, it looks here like we cut your card off because of fraud.” What the eff, is it not important that I know this? January is the month my debit card failed the same week my credit card did, and my boyfriend left for Panorama, BC that day leaving me with no access to my funds at all. January is the month I sucked at my job. January is the month Tim didn’t work any day shifts leaving us an hour during lunch to see each other. January is the month that I tried to make new friends that didn’t want to be made back. January is the month I fell really hard and hurt my elbows (okay, that one was just whining).
For the duration of the month of January, you may find me going about my duties with a hoodie on, hood up, with the strings pulled real tight so no one can look in.
I’m sorry for this negative, whiny post but I needed to let it out. The pit in my stomach is growing by the second. My plan is to go to bed in my favourite pyjamas, with a glass of wine and a good book, in my super comfy bed and wake up tomorrow and take a big breath and tell the world that it’s showtime.

stuff bothering me;
-that i haven’t blogged in nearly a month and nobody seems to notice/care.
-my job. hate it hate it hate it.
-the fact that I’M the one always stuck doing laundry/dishes/bathroom/cleaning up after the puppy/generally everything to do with cleaning like a fucking 50’s housewife. Whatever happened to equality in the home?
(his defense is that he just wants to relax when he gets home from work/days off – Yeah buddy, I’d like to do the same thing!!)
-The fact that we have no money, ever, and live worse than ‘paycheque to paycheque’.

More hating on January here…Our dryer only blows cold air, both mine & my hubby’s car broke down. (at least one was fixed b4 the other one went!some consolation)My computer broke & I was w/o it for a week and a 1/2. Not to mention all the money all these repairs are costing. Hubby’s car was somewhat fixed but stopped running again at the garage so that’s more parts to put on & more money to spend that we don’t have. Well, looks like bills will have to be paid late this month till we get our taxes back…ARGH! Is it spring yet? Maybe we should all hibernate for the winter! Thanks for the chance to vent!
-Bus strike=I have to bum rides off Krys and Aaron and I think they are annoyed at me for it.
-School is back
-My body hurts everyday from cheerleading, and I have mad bruises.
-I’m getting no visitors. At least you get visitors!
-I want to go to Calgary, but I have a job interview during reading week.
-My room is constantly freezing, and Emilys room, which she is never even in, and is right beside mine is always warm and toasty.

i wish i could curl up in bed with a good book and some hot chocolate ( no booze for mee.. still nursin da baby ) but alas i cannot due to the 2.5 yr. & 6 month. old.
my list is too long, and i think you’d get bored of hearing it before i finished.. haha
What bothers me is ridiculous roommates.. and Mic can attest to this lol..
I dont get why people would be willing to live with roommates if all they do is whine and b**ch about it.. is the recycling on the counter for a day really gonna kill you? NO.. and geewhiz.. it’s ok if u do it but not us?? i dont think so.. and what the hell leave my beautiful cat alone.. i know she can be annoying but geewhiz u dont have to be mean and rude to her.. i dunno.. i didn’t think that living with roomies would be full of fun filled drama but apparently i was wrong.. At least I have Micaela to keep me sane and grounded lol she is the best roomie ever 
Jen I totally know what you mean. I live with my best friend, and because we also live with her boyfriend, this means that I haven’t actually really talked to her or hung out with her in weeks.

I’m sorry your January is being a bitch.
Mine is full of ice and boring papers and accounting homework and mean reds that make me snap at The Boy for no reason.
My January is also empty of fun and festivities and baths with good books and a much needed gym routine.
