My snoring scares the cat at night.

Written by Erica. Filed Under life

I’d like to dispel some MYTHS that have been perpetrated by some blond sisters of mine.

To reiterate, the snoring that got me kicked out of bed (now several times)? It’s due to my cold. My cold! I can barely breathe at night. Leah is right, the snoring is a signal that I am still alive.

I wake up in the morning and cough up phlegm. My eyes are watery. Mr X reminds me to breathe through my nose, but I just can’t. I sound like a man! Also, for the record, I am not the only snorer in this apartment. In fact, there is someone in this apartment who talks in their sleep. And has called their fiance “mom”.

at least he calls you mom and not an ex-girlfriends name… that’s what happens to me, and he never remembers doing it.

haha awww, he called you mom? i remember when that was like the worst thing you could possibly do in elementary school, call the teacher mom. It always seemed like it was boys that would do it more tho. I remember I did it once, gasped, realized no one had heard me, and continued on with “Mrs. Kowalski” instead.

Glad to see I’m not the only one that gets called Mom. Though I’m pretty sure that when he called me Mom it wasn’t in any endearing way and more so because I wouldn’t stop cleaning up after his lazy ass. LOL I’ll stop here.

Yup, it was somthing along the lines of ‘but mo-om…I don’t WANNA get up!’ Nevermind the fact that I never force him to get up. That would be against my beliefs of sleeping in.

As for my cold, fear not my friends, I seem to be improving. All it took was time and a totally unrelated trip to the doctor’s. Where I saw a smooshable baby.

Kent called me by his ex girlfriend Amanda’s name once and I laughed at him really hard and he tried to tell me he was thinking of one of my best friends, also named Amanda.. I didn’t believe it! But I also don’t think he is still in love with his ex girlfriend considering they dated from 16-20 and he is now 28… or if he is then he seriously needs to get over that one since she is married and has been living in Australia for 8 years!
