1.) One of my eyes is smaller than the other. I am somewhat self-conscious about it, but then I noticed that my Dad has the exact same trait and then I felt better about it because at least I am not a freak of nature. It’s just genetic! But I hate driving without sunglasses because I feel that when I squint with my smaller eye it will contract the muscles around it and my eye will get muscular and make it look even smaller. I try very hard when the sun is shining in my eyes to evenly squint with both eyes. Sometimes, it’s not that easy!
2.) I rarely spend more than $15 on a shirt. I just can’t do it, and I am a supreme bargain shopper. (With the exception of today .. but ladies you will just DIE when you see it. )
3.) I love to read – the same two books over and over. I don’t even care to read anything else. Summer Sisters and Practical Magic (speaking of .. fork it back over Ms. Micaela, you have had it long enough!) I rarely read any other books.
4.) I just spent $60 on a chef’s knife for my boyfriend for Valentines Day, and it made me happy.
5.) I like getting lost. Sometimes, especially when I am biking home from the womens shelter, I will take a random turn just to find out where I end up. And when me and Tim drive to the Bontje farm in the Spring/Summer, we just take a random exit off the 401 and find out way home from there. Even when I am walking home from school, I will take a random alley behind a row of houses just to see if I can find a cool pathway.
6.) Me and Tim have designed, right to the colour and accents on the wing-backed chair in front of the gas fireplace with a cuddly rug in front of it, our future wine cellar. Oh yes, it will be amazing.
Check 0ut some unimportant facts about my Momma! She lovingly tagged us, so I thought I would jump the gun and get this shiz started!

Practical Magic will be returned to you when I unpack all of my stuff that was at Kent’s – it’s all in the driveshed right now and there is sooo much and he’s the one who packed it all and I do NOT want to venture into it yet… so you’ll get it shortly.
I really really liked it at the beginning but then I felt like it just started to drone on and I lost interest.
Muscular eye?
Yes, it’s a terrible, embarrassing syndrome. Possibly life-threatening (for my social life).
Haha.
Hey NICE Val present! Hope you wont get just roses lol.
I didn’t realize how much you and Tim were into wine until I read your last little known fact!
You guys HAVE to join the Ontario Wine Society with us and come to the meetings! They’re only once a month, so it’s do-able. Just google search it I think?
Hope he loved the knife! I got matt a case of his favourite wine and they threw in a wooden case for it all too, then some garlic grape seed oil and cabernet chocolates from the same winery. He was very happy! (side note: he knew I was going to the winery and requested the wine, but still!)
and then he arrives home with a bottle of amaaaazing icewine and cabernet chocolates from a different winery for me! we’re a pair!
Come down soon and dinner party with us! Please? Any weekend!
