A couple of months ago I blogged about Winter Engagement Photos and trying to come up with ideas for our own. On what I’m pretty sure was the coldest day in January, Kent and I had ours taken in our cute little town. We ended up being really happy with our photographer, Dana Harper. She only made me wait four days for the pictures! Any girl can appreciate that. I chose 30 of my favourites out of the 300 she sent me, and she edited them for us. When Kent and I are together we always have lots of fun and are constantly trying to make each other laugh and I think Dana did a good job of capturing that.
Here are the results:

We are going to have a signature frame like this one as our guestbook:
Katelyn and her husband Scott did this and I like the fact that it is up on their wall and always up on display, rather than on a bookshelf collecting dust. Whenever new people come to her house they always look at it right away. Sooo, if you get a chance to look at all of them let me know your favourite. Hope you like!

I like your idea for a “different” guestbook. Matt and I had one like Laura’s that is basically a picture book that people sign. People always look at it and it’s nice to always have it sitting out!
we’re thinking of doing a frame for our guestbook, too. the other option is to have plain christmas tree balls in a big basket with a metallic marker and have each guest sign the ball. hello, free tree decorations
your pictures are great. i really like the one where he’s dipping you…but all of them are nice!

Hey – if you’ve noticed someone trolling around your archives, that would be me. I can’t even remember now how I found your blog, but I stayed because I also have a large family and so I’m fascinated!
I have an older brother and three younger sisters, and I have a younger half-sis and half-bro. I always say I have four sisters and two brothers, it’s easier. My sisters are my best friends and I so wish I could get them to start a blog with me. But I know they’d never stick to it, and soon it would become just my blog, and I’ve already got one of those.
Anyway, I’ll be following along from here on out!

Downside… the signaures fade over time.
It was a perfect and very captivating pictures. Out-door winter photography is a challenge but if you get it right it evokes a sense of peace and solitude.
All of the photos are great. Your photographer did an excellent job!
