This may be coming as news to two of my bridesmaids, but this afternoon we decided on our bridesmaid dresses! Michelle M. and Lauren tried on dozens of dresses and we finally decided upon our favourite from last time we went dress shopping.
Here’s the winner on Michelle:
And on Lauren. Pictures weren’t allowed since this was before we decided to buy them, so Katelyn was trying to be sneaky and didn’t want to warn Michelle or Lauren she was taking a picture, hence the lack of heads.
I think they are completely adorable, and I’m a little jealous – I want one too!
After we finished with dress shopping, we went for lunch at a Thai restaurant that Michelle and I always go to together. Here’s Lauren and Katelyn at the restaurant:
And Michelle and I:
I enjoyed some bubble tea:
Then we had a successful little shopping trip. Katelyn got this funky ring:
So Michelle P and Leah – hope you are happy with the choice! I am certain that you will be though. The dresses were at their cutest last time we were at the store and all the girls were wearing them at the same time, which makes me very excited to see them all wearing them on August 15th. It will be a whole lot of hotness.
Now let’s talk shoes. What colour/style of shoes would you pair with them? My wedding colours are bright yellow and pink.

Sounds and looks great to me!
When do we have to go buy them?
love the choice Mic! you should totally just buy one for yourself. As for the shoes, perhaps all different versions of hot pink shoes?
ohh la la.. me likey
ps where from?
WOWZA! Those are some cute cute cute dresses, I wish I could have one! =] I think bright yellow shoes would be absolutely adorable with it, but then again pink would be a perfect match too. I just love pink&yellow so I think both would look rockin!! That bubble tea looks mighty yummy, what does it taste like?!
Black stilettos are always a classic. But pink would also look hot. I’m up for anything I am just sooo excited about the dress.
Ps. Kate I had no idea you took those pics of me. Sneaky sneaky, well done!
SOOOOO cute!!! good choosing girls!
pink pumps.. with yellow and pink flowers!
I am voting yellow! Bright yellow would look so cute.
I loooooooove that dress, it is super cute and flattering on all of us. Excellent choice.
That dress is GORGEOUS!! What a great choice!! I LOVE the suggestion of pink heels too, that would be totally hot!
Mmmm, that bubble tea looks SO GOOD!! Like I seriously want to go out and get one now. LOVE it. My favorite flavor is Taro, have you tried it before? YUM.
That ring is adorable as are all you girlies!!!
Yay for a decision on the dress!!

I’ve never been disappointed with Elizabeth Noel. Once dropped more than I’d like to admit on my “college royal” dress there…

The dresses are so pretty. I think they need a cute high stiletto.

How tall are the guys in kents party?
Really, really cute dresses. I love them. The nice thing about the length is that there will be less weight dragging down the bust line. When I was a bridesmaid for my sis, we had great dresses but they were long and strapless. That much weight meant that we all constantly worried about the bust line slipping down!

Michelle – haha good question! They are all pretty tall I think, maybe around Kent’s height.

I can NOT get high shoes. Doesn’t work for me, haha. I was so scared when the girl started to pull the dress down on me to see if it was fitting right!
I agree about the colour shoes too! Maybe 2 of us could have yellow and 2 of us pink?

Laur maybe you should get a smaller size? Because you of all people should not have the dress falling down issue. Maybe go try it on again next time you’re home.

Next time I’m home will probably be like april 20thish. Hopefully they have the next size down though?

Lau you can just get it taken in a bit if you have too…
I had to get 2 sizes bigger because of the length and I have to get it taken in quite a bit
I think the size you got was was pretty good on you Lau.
But it was falling down… that’s not good.

The bridesmaids dress is so simple, just add some accessories to make it more fabulous.
Where did you guys for thai food? I am always looking for new eats in the city! Thanks
Alice – are you from London, ON? We went to Ben Thang, on York Street. It’s my favourite!
No.. I am in Ottawa… I wasn’t sure if you were there or not. Thanks tho
