I’m not Canadian, but I’ve seen a fair amount of celebs during my many stayovers in Vancouver: Leslie Nielsen at the White Spot off Robson; James Vanderbeek going into the Sutton Place Hotel; ditto Tom Arnold, who tipped his baseball cap and said “Hello” (Vanderbeek had his dalmatian with him); Martin Short in the elevator of The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver; Halle Berry with her cat Play-Doh in the elevator of The Metropolitan Hotel; Collin Bernsen at an outdoor resto on South Granville; Sam Neill on a flight from Vancouver to Sandspit (I sat behind him, he read The Wall Street Journal). I’m off to Vancouver in a few days, so I may have more
brushes with fame.

Chicago. We were walking down the street, and all of a sudden there were cameras and werid lighting everywhere. We had walked on to the set of ‘The Break Up’ and Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughan were inside filming. We stayed for awhile to see if they would come out, but there was too much to see and do in Chicago, so we didn’t wait that long.
New York,my mom and I were riding the double decker bus tour, and I specifically asked the tour guide to find me a celebrity, and he would get an excellent tip. So we were heading up 5th avenue, and he said, look down there. HUGE cameras everywhere, all looking at a cab, and we were like ‘Big Deal’. AND THEN…
GEORGE CLOONEY got out. My mom starting creaming like a little girl, and I was yelling too, nobody else on the bus was saying anything. He waved at us and WINKED.
He is even hotter in person I will tell you that.

I remember watching you get interviewed by Rick! I was insanely jealous. We should find that video – is it on facebook or youtube?
I forgot about when I was in Banff and I met Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas. He remembered my name the next day! Also – Macgyver. I met Macgyver!
