Judging from the comments on Leah’s post earlier today, a lot of our readers are going through some January blues. Personally I always love January at first- it’s a new year where nothing at all has gone wrong yet.
But it’s the end of January now and while I have to say my life is pretty good, I do think that these frigid temperatures have gone on for long enough. I mean it’s been well below freezing for the past few weeks and while I would love to face cold like this girl does…

Helping to keep me sane this January?
One of my favourite reality shows, The Bachelor. Jen can attest to the fact that I spend most of the show either hiding my face from pure embarassment for the girls that go straight in for the makeout session that Jason clearly is not interested in, or yelling at him for having no idea about which girl is right for him. He did redeem himself in my eyes, however, at the end of last night’s episode by kicking off three girls instead of two. They were alllll wrong for him. 
My pick?

Also making me smile this month – cheesy things I come across on blogs. I’m a sucker for cheesiness. But you need things like this saved on your computer so you have something besides word documents and power point presentations on the computer to look at when the internet is down.

What makes me smile this month.. all my great friends and especially Andrew who surprised me with a visit last weekend.. and the fact that every night he protests about me living in Windsor and asks me to come back home

- Micaela covering her face everytime a girl smooches Jason on the Bachelor it’s the cutest and funniest thing
- quite a few of my friends/family are getting married this year so i’m really excited about that
- and i LOOVE the snow.. just not the cold part.. lol
