Tonight was my favourite night of the week – Bachelor night! It’s definitely the only show that I won’t miss. Last year I lived with a group of girls that loved to watch it along with me, but now that I live with Kent it’s just as good because he loves it too. Maybe I shouldn’t be giving away secrets about his girly side (of which Bachelor is pretty much the extent) but I’m sure it helps that the show is full of gorgeous girls. And that I always make popcorn.
If you check out my post from last year’s Bachelor you’ll see that I picked the Canadian Jillian and I didn’t do too badly – in fact she went on to become the next Bachelorette! Right now there are only four girls left, but I made a list of my top four in the very first episode and three of the girls – Ali, Tenley, and Gia are still in! Pretty good! Especially since I don’t think anyone really likes the other girl in the top four, Vienna, except for Jake. I didn’t really have a fourth favourite so I picked Jessie just because she is Canadian. She didn’t do too badly, she left last week.
Of the top four Gia is my favourite. I got a little flack for liking her in the beginning since she’s a swimsuit model, but she is totally coming through for me. I think she’s adorable and Jake totally agrees.

I guess I just don’t understand how these girls don’t realize that once they’re “with” Jake in real life and he sees how they behaved when he wasn’t around on the show he’s going to think they’re ridiculous! Oh dear…
I’m hoping Gia – but wish I didn’t spend so much time online…I’ve already seen the spoiler for who he picks. I don’t think they’re still together now though. Any public appearances he’s done since then he has seemed really low key and not very happy.

I find that they show the other girls complaining about Vienna soo much but they never show her bad side, just annoying side.
I haven’t read any spoilers or seen any public appearances from him… hmmm. Must try to avoid that.
Everyone keeps telling me to watch this, but I never get around to it. Maybe I should start making time for it.

I think if you start watching at the beginning of the season you will definitely get a little obsessed!
I love that kent loves it too! It’s great when you can have an amazing date night for zero dollars!
That’s definitely a bonus! At the end of every episode after they show next week’s previews we both sit there for a minute and whine about how next week is sooooo farrrr awayyyy.
Scott loves it as well. In fact last season he would watch it without me. He likes Tenley.

Scott is very good about watching your shows with you – Hills, One Tree Hill, Bachelor, Biggest Loser… points for him. Now you have someone else to watch bad tv with in a few years!
I know you tried, Mic, but Den just can’t get into the show. He did say that he thought Rozlyn was hot!
Hah… I don’t know how much that says about his taste! Considering she got kicked off the first episode for being slutty. Although I heard that they are still together.
I definitely like Gia – she’s absolutely gorgeous! She just seems a little unsure of herself. My favorite so far is Tenley, with Ali trailing close behind. We’ll see what happens – right now it’s really anyone’s game! (But I’m looking forward to the home visits.)

I like Ali the most!! She is so natural and fun and I find all the other girls try too hard! Gia is my second fave though….
Well Micaela, this is Will and I happen to be well versed in the Bachelor as well. Tenley is tops (in my eyes) of the girl’s taken out of sex rehabs/ needle exchanges to win the heart of Jake. Gia is too dumb to realize Jake is playing her and is keeping her so he can nail her on the second last episode plus I hate her accent. The law of reality T.V. states that: Who ever gets the most air time is the craziest. So that’s a tie for the lovely Alley (who I love but I know something has to be wrong with her) and Vienna who is flat out crazy and I vote most like to kill herself and take 2 members of the crew with her. The winner, will be us as viewers when Rozlyn Papa sex tape comes out. But for Jake, he will go with Alley and after 5 months of no longer living in luxury they will breakup and I will be sad.
I am in love with the fact that Will just did that recap. Someone give the boy a blog!
I read a spoiler. I know who wins and who the final 2 are. I won’t share it, but some interesting things are going to happen. And even though I know what is going to happen, I can’t stop watching it.
