Part 3: 2nd Outing, Relaxing and Heading Home
It’s been 1 month since my last honeymoon recap and I think it’s about time that I finished up, so I’ll put the rest in this blog, and will try not to make it too long.
Here are some pictures of our relaxing days. In the 2nd one you can kind of make out someone on the zip line over the pool. The last one is when Scott and I borrowed bikes and toured the resort, there were so many hills, so we ended up walking our bikes a lot. Because we are lazy.

For our 2nd tour we went on the Mega Combo tour, as they called it. A fun filled day of horse back riding, taking a mud bath/hot springs, taking a waterside through the rainforest and finished off with a zip line through the rainforest.
For the horse back riding part we had to wear these white helmets that made us look so dorky! I couldn’t resist taking a picture of Scott, and I couldn’t stop laughing at him during the horse ride. He loves horses and was talking to his horse the whole time, scolding as it ran him into bushes because the horses were crazy and would not listen to you. It was also raining during our horse ride, so we were soaked. It was a good thing we had brought a change of clothes.
Next up was the mud bath, which stained my bathing suit, even after they told us it wouldn’t! And then the waterslide through the rainforest. It was so fun. Scott and I went down it twice because we loved it, and only 1 other person went down it twice. They took fun pictures of us as we went down but Scott and I didn’t buy them.
Next up (after a traditional lunch) was the zip lining, the highlight of the tour! There were a lot of rules, but it was really fun. It did hurt the body though, with all the ropes around your legs. Scott also got a semi decent shot of a howler monkey while we were there.
On our way back to the resort there were really nice views.
The next day was our LAST full day! So naturally I began taking pictures of everything possible. Here are a few from that day.
And that’s the end of the honeymoon series. It was our first trip going somewhere warm (other than going to Florida), and we really enjoyed it. We would definitely suggest taking a trip to Costa Rica!
